CircuitSim: an electrical bench in your browser.

Wire up relay logic, motor starters and PLC programs, switch them on and watch the current flow. Nothing to install.

Features

Build it, then see what it does

60 parts on one bench

Switches, relays, contactors, timers, fuses, breakers, lamps, motors and meters. Drag them out and click terminals to wire them.

Behaves like the real thing

Coils pull in, fuses blow, breakers trip and motors run up to speed. Mistakes show up the way they would on a real bench.

Program a PLC

Add a controller with inputs and outputs, then write the program as a block diagram or as ladder logic and watch it run.

Learn with exercises

Practice with automatic checks and hints, or hunt for hidden faults such as a broken wire or a burnt-out coil.

Export your work

Turn a bench into a standards-based schematic, print a wiring list or share a bench with a link.

Questions

Good to know

What can I build?

Start from a blank bench or open a blueprint: logic gates, latching circuits, timers, rectifiers, direct-on-line and star-delta motor starters, reversing circuits, distribution boards, temperature control and PLC projects.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use CircuitSim right away. A free LunarSky account lets you save benches online.

Which languages does it support?

CircuitSim is available in English and German.

Is it open source?

No. CircuitSim is closed source and runs in your browser at circuitsim.lunarsky.cloud.
